BooBook Owl Chick (Bird of Prey)
This little one was found in the country. On the middle of the road. He was picked up by a gentlemen an his wife. Husband thought it was going to die so he chucked him on the side of the road. The wife made him go back and they collected the little fluff ball. After a long drive I picked him up. Boo made a great recovery after being cold, hungry an dehydrated.

Long Neck Turtle
Found in the middle of the road. Dehydrated and anorexic. Stayed for a few weeks for rehab and weight gain then released.
Butcher Bird
Long Story short a member of the public raised him from a little baby who fell out of the nest. Due to wrong procedure he ended up being the friendliest hand-raised pet. Sadly couldn't be released and was sent to a wildlife park.
Baby Dove
This little one came in with a massive hole in the side of his crop. After a full cleanup at home he was taken to the vets to get glued back together with surgical glue. Lucky he wasn't humpty dumpty and he was able to put back together again!
Adult Kookaburra
Mr snappy pants Kookaburra had a head on incident with a car grill. He came in with a cut on his ankle with lots of bruising, Blood in his mouth an a broken tip on the last joint on his wing. He has undertaken sugery to repair his break for a happy release.

This one was dropped off late one night found unable to fly. Was taken to RSPCA wildlife hospital for further testing to identify the issue
Crested Hawk
Gorgeous Crested Hawk was found being attacked by crows and magpies. Suspected to be hit by a car. Due to the species he was rushed to the RSPCA animal hospital for vet treatment.
Grey Species Butcher Bird
Was found in a paddock in Pine Mountain with no obvious injuries. On closer inspection I found a tiny scab on his head. It didn't look quite right so i removed the scab. It was full of lumpy puss all between the skull bone and skin. Once all removed and cleaned up he had an instant change in behavior. Was more alert an active. Strong Dose of antibiotics but he sadly passed away a few days later. The infection was just too much for the poor fellow.
Some of the gorgeous wildlife we have cared for. Whether it be for rehabilitation or raising from baby to adult! There is nothing like watching a bird fly or an animal run free.. Giving back to nature there is nothing like that feeling.
